Mark Payne, founder of Barred Rock Group, is a Dallas, TX native. He has an undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s Degree (MBA) from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Payne, a serial entrepreneur, brings to Barred Rock multiple decades of experience from the aviation, transportation, agriculture, real estate and construction industries. He is also considered a Latin American regional expert having lived in Mexico and Central America.
